MINECRAFT HOUR OF CODE!!!🕹

Today we done SUMMER LEARNING JOURNEY! There are five challenges. The first one was Minecraft hour of code then this Nanagirl lab one also a Silly algebra thing video and a He Hokanga  ngā ōrau video. I chose the minecraft hour of code and I was glad I did. Here is a picture of them all.

It was very fun you had to use these blocks which did not look like blocks here is a picture.

Here is another picture. You have to make the agent which is the white, grey striped person get to the pressure plates which are the wood things on the ground. I have to get the black, grey and red compass. I am up to level eight. I love the hour of code.

 

 

The Game called Universe

At the end of day yesterday me and my classmates went out to play a game called universe. You had to be called a number. The numbers are one, two and three. I was a two same with my friend Zoe. You had to go in a big circle then something had to go in the middle.We put a shoe in the middle. Then are teacher Miss Laing would call out two or three or one then we would run around the circle and go  through the spot where we were in the circle and whoever touches the shoe in the circle. They would turn into a star and if you touch the shoe again you would turn into a moon then a earth then a sun then finally the universe. I thought it was a little boring.

Experiments on Kowhai seeds!

Last week are teacher, Miss Hickford bought in kowhai seeds. She wants us to see how the kowhai seeds grow. We had sought them into groups of one hundred but that didn’t go as plan when Aahil and Lucas came to put the kowhai in the bowls. Lucas put them in one bowl and Aahil was supposed to put them in the other bowl but he didn’t listen and put kowhai seeds in the same bowl. The next day we had to sought the kowhai out in to 98 groups and the rest will go into another bowl. She told us what would go in the first bowl. That bowl was for chipped kowhai seeds. The second bowl was for kowhai seeds that would be soaked in hot water for 24 hours and the third was for ones just normal kowhai seeds. Pippa, Sam and Evelyn chipped the chipped ones and Miss Hickford put the hot water in the the hot water bowl and the rest of us just cruised around.
