PE with Seaweed

My class, every Tuesday and Wednesday, we went out for  PE with Mr Butler. Mostly at the start we would play a game called Seaweed. There are two taggers. We start at the yellow line at the end of the court and Mr Butler shouts SEAWEED! And we run across to the other end hoping not to get caught. If you get tagged then you would stay in the spot that you were in and try to reach and tag someone, like seaweed. Some of the boys and girls (Including me, sometimes) cheat, like don’t say that they got tagged or go behind the bike sheds, also going before Mr Butler says SEAWEED! (I’m a part of the last one)

Do you think we should be doing PE is a subject or a playing time?

An explosion of Kind Words

Yesterday Mrs Thomson was teaching us. In the morning most of us got our chromebooks out, but Mrs Thomson said we wouldn’t be needing them today. We all went “awhhhhhhh” So instead we started to get into groups to play this game of pipa (paper), kuti (scissors), toku (I think that’s it, rock). So you went into groups and someone would put scissors paper or rock behind their back. The people behind them would then shout out pipa if it’s paper behind their back. If it’s scissors behind they would shout kuti and toku for rock. One of the boys cheated and was looking at what we had behind our backs, it was annoying.

After morning tea we then had to write down some kind words on sticky notes and place them on the whiteboard, the girls got to do it first. I think my words were,  energetic, exotic, wonderful, amazing,  the best and positive. The boys then write stuff like your mum and dad, but mostly they wrote the right stuff. The day was long and tiring because the boys were bad the whole day. And I hope next time they aren’t but I think I’m just jinxing myself.

Do you think that girls are more behaved then boys or do you think it’s the other way around?

Math Monsters!

Two weeks ago, well about two, we logged into matific for the math competition. At the start I was exited at first but then for me matific turned into a burden for me.  Every task started off easy and I liked all of them. At the bottom their was a question with writing that said “Did you like this?” and I always clicked “I LOVE THIS!” then it turned out every time I did this it gave me more of it but way harder. It was AWFUL! There was this task that was easy and I liked it of course. It was called Ship It Out, I went to Mr A for help. Turns out Mr A was dumb and Nate had to do it. Mr A said if anyone had that problem you go to Nate, that’s what everyone did.

I had to go to Mrs Fearn’s class to get my 150 stars, because the years fives that were in my class we had two accounts. Mrs Long said that I would have more stars then anyone in the school that made me feel proud. As the week came to a end I was so glad that my math problem was finally gone. Only one more year until maftic is gone for good, well i hope is gone. As not next year but the one after.

Here’s a question. Do you think we should go to high school when we were year 6s  or do you think we should be a bit older before we go to high school?
