Now weeding the old playground sounds boring but it was actually really fun… (kinda) Anyway after handwriting in our classroom we went to are old playground witch is just an old playground obviously. I thought it was fun because I got a bush like plant but sadly I don’t know the name of it and it is a native if you’re wondering. I called him Succeedo because I succeeded in getting him.He loves to get a little drizzle on him and he loves to sun bathe. I think it was special to find him, I think it was a successful day for me and Succeedo but he misses his friend Sequoia.(Go to Zoe’s blog to meet her).
Playing korfball!
On Thursday we played korfball. There are four rules but we got to play the fifth rule.The fifth rule is for years five and older but since we’re year fives next year we got to do it.
- When you’ve got the ball you can’t move but you can pivot.
- When you defend girls have to defend the girls and the boys have to defend the boys.
- Pass the ball lightly to each other.
- When you’re about to shoot and someone is in front of you in shoulder reach you can’t shoot but pass it to someone
- We split the court into 2 half’s, (it’s a bit like netball) there’s a line in the middle and no one is allowed past it eight people play on court, four people on each side, two from each team on the sides, two of them shoot and two defend.
